Subconscious Mind Training (SMT)
What is SMT?
This is a rapid result therapy performed by a highly qualified clinical hypnotherapist and holistic counsellor. It works by exploring the most hidden information in the vast unconscious mind, and integrating it with cognitive verbal and physical practices. It is this holistic approach which ensure more rapid and sustainable results than one might get from more traditional suggestive hypnosis or cognitive therapies alone.
From overcoming fears, or negative patterns, to physical ailments or dealing with anxiety and depression, SMT gets to the core of the hidden beliefs which are governing your life. These are beliefs we don’t even know we have!
Broken diets to broken hearts, you may find you keep stumbling onto similar themes in your life, or you may simply want to lose weight or quit smoking and for ‘some reason’ it’s just too hard. Together we find that reason, let it go, and replace it with a new more empowering reason.
This process allows you to more effortlessly let go of the hidden beliefs, emotions and stories which limit your full potential.
What Can I Expect from the SMT Process?
Sessions range from 1 hour to 2.5 hours depending on the work intended during the session. These are mostly done in the comfort of your own home via Zoom, so you can get comfortable and feel safe in your own environment. *Some set up guidelines are listed below.
Subconscious (deeply relaxed) sessions are typically 90 minutes to 2 ½ hours.
These sessions are done in a deeply relaxed state, allowing us to get to the very core of what is causing unwanted or unhealthy feelings, thoughts, behaviors or habits. The practitioner will guide you to find and release the core cause, and replace it with a healthier, more empowering beliefs and feelings about yourself and world around you.
Cognitive sessions are part of the SMT process and are typically 1 hour to 90 minutes in duration.
These sessions reaffirm the new neurology, helping you discover, practice and ingrain the more empowering subconscious beliefs to ensure sustainability. These sessions also help identify anything new you have become aware of which can further empower your outcomes.
Check In sessions are typically 15 minutes in duration and are done via telephone.
These are complimentary for anyone doing more than one session. Like a ‘mini coaching session’ these check-ins are designed to support you as you choose to stay connected to your new thoughts, feeling, and beliefs. While the deeper SMT sessions usually result in incredibly positive outcomes, discovering our power can still feel quite different, and can bring up new information to process. Sometimes the sessions are just an enjoyable catch up to share how great you feel with someone who understands!
You will usually be provided with practical activities to integrate into your day-to-day life. These practices are intentionally playful, easy to do and help you fully enjoy your own progress.
These sessions are extremely helpful for any of the following but not limited to:
- Releasing Uncertainly
- Releasing an unwanted habit or behavior
- Loss & Grief
- Increase Positive Self-Image & Self-Esteem
- Build Confidence
- Manage Pain
- Overcome Anxiety or Depression
- Overcoming Patterns of Unhealthy Relationships with people, food, and other self-destructive situations
- Letting go of Self-doubt
Clients will typically do between 1-5 sessions (combining the SMT deeper trance work with cognitive sessions) depending on what they want to clear and goals they want to achieve.
It is recommended you do one session before committing to one of the packages.
Preparation For Your Session
*These are sessions are done via Zoom so it is essential you have good internet reception, your device is fully charged and on a charger if you know it has less than 3 hours battery!
The lead up to your SMT session can be as important and the work you do after the session. The clearer we are on what you want to gain from the work we do together fast-tracks positive results.
Pre-Appointment Telephone Catch-Up
Once an appointment is booked you will be contacted before the first session just to get a general feel for what you want to achieve and how you’re feeling about ‘letting go’ and embracing the new.
Information & Consent Form
Please fill in this information and consent form and email it back to email@example.com before your first session. You can fill it in digitally however you will need to download it to your computer, save it and then fill it in so you can attach it to an email.
This form provides clarity around your reason for wanting to do SMT. It will include questions about your goals, general health and confirming you have been explained the process and consent to our work together and all pricing associated.
Setting Your Room: As I do most of my work via Zoom in these new times we find ourselves in, I ask that you set up your space in way that is comfortable, private, safe, uninterrupted and I must be able to see you at all times.
Sitting in a comfortable chair is ideal. (Laying down on a bed is not preferred. It can lead to you falling asleep or interrupt visibility).
It is vital that I can see you so please check your camera is set in a still location, distant enough that I can see all of you not just your head. The way you move in a session provides information so please ensure you have tested visibility of the chair you’re sitting in and that lighting is sufficient even if we start at 4pm and go to 6pm where the light may change. Have the light on in preparation please.
